iGroup Connections

When social networks emerged, our vision was a deep integration of voice, text messaging, and email into the social web.

Identity Protection · as we studied social group behavior (especially youth activities), we learned that identity protection was the most fundamental requirement. Can I connect my family and still protect my family?

The Family Model · we also learned that most families aren't interested in finding new social groups. They want better connections with the families in their existing teams, clubs, and organizations. These connections are their social network.

Our vision is reflected in these pending patents:

Route by Identity · USPTO: 20050198125 · interactions (voice, email, text, web) should flow based on your identity and the identities within your social group. As you move between social groups, your identity changes. Social networks should route by identity to ensure everyone's privacy.

Social Interaction Networks · USPTO: 20050198299 · social groups need rules of engagement for members to interact safely inside the group. As social groups federate into larger networks (leagues, clubs, organizations) these rules must evolve to facilitate interaction between groups.

Personal Trust Networks · USPTO: 20060031510 · your trust network is your circle of social groups and your willingness to trust the members. You extend your trust network by trusting other people's trust networks. The result is an organic trust network that defines who can interact with you, your family, and your social group.
