Using the Group Phone System

Directra offers your Group several ways to use the telephone to contact each other. Two of them are described here. See Email, Text and Call Blasts to learn about how you can use call blasts to send a phone message to many members at once.

Click to Call

On the Members page find a member you want to call. If they have enabled any of their phones to be either protected or visible, calling them is easy. Just click the phone icon phone by their name and Directra will display a screen that tells you exactly what to do. Give Directra your name and phone number and click Call. Directra will call you for confirmation, call the Group member, and with his or her approval will connect you. If the member is not there you can leave a voice message.

Directory Dial

Suppose you're out somewhere and need to call another Group member but you don't recall their number. Call the Directra number (760-291-8097), select Call Member and follow the voice prompts. Directra will take care of the rest.

Setup

  1. In your iPanel make sure your phone information is correct. This will allow others to call you, and also will allow Directra to verify who you are when you call from this number.
  2. On the My iPanel tab click Edit My Preferences, then fill in your phone number and a voice pin. Whenever you call from a phone which is not yours, use this information to "log in" to the Directra phone system.  Learn more ...
