Email, Text and Call Blasts
Blasts allow you, with a single email or phone call, to send a message to any or all members of your Group. The process is very simple:
- Use tags to identify sets of members within your Group. Tags are set up by your Group admin but anyone can use them.
- You can send an email blast from Directra by clicking Send an Email Blast on the Communicate tab or by sending a message from any email program. Learn more.
- To send a text blast, click Send a Text Blast on the Communicate menu. Learn more.
- To send a call blast, click Make a Call Blast on the Communicate tab, or create and send the blast directrly from your phone. When you're done, Directra will email you summary status of the blast. Learn more.
Example
Your team takes a road trip and you want to make sure that all drivers know the latest traffic conditions.
Have your admin create a tag called Drivers that will be used specifically for this road trip. Tag each parent or coach who will be driving.
When a driver encounters traffic, he or she can warn the other drivers by sending them a call blast.
