Directra Photos
Nothing adds to the quality of a web site like photos. Directra recognizes this and provides a streamlined interface to upload, view and download photos.
Uploading is easy. On the Features tab select Photos, then click the Upload button. You can upload a single photo or up to 100 photos at once. In the latter case, Directra displays a progress indicator and, when done, tells you if there were any problems with the upload. You don't need to worry about size or resolution. Directra will scale the photo appropriately for viewing.
Before you upload a photo make sure that you own the photo or have permission to upload it. Also make sure that the photo contains no material that is inappropriate for or offensive to members of the Group.
There are a couple of ways to view photos:
- On the Photos home page gadget, just click on the photo.
- On the Features tab, select Photos.
You can view individual photos or a slideshow or thumbnails of all the photos which have been uploaded. You can comment on photos and even send an email link to a particular photo.
When viewing a specific photo, click Download to move a copy of the photo to your computer. The photo you download will be the same resoluton as the photo that was uploaded.
