Logging In to Directra Using Your Telephone

When using your phone to access any of Directra's telephone features, you'll need to tell Directra who you are. Here's how:

When you phone in, Directra checks your caller-ID. If either of the following cases is true, Directra will immediately recognize you (you'll hear a greeting) and you may proceed with your call.

  • The phone number you're calling from is specified in your Account Settings page. Directra requires that login phone numbers be unique. Since you're the only one with this number, Directra will know who you are.
  • If the number is not found in your or any other user's Account Settings page, Directra checks to see if the number appears on any Member Pages. If the number appears on Member Pages owned by exactly one user (i.e. you), then Directra assumes the number is yours and logs you in. If the number appears on Member Pages for more than one user, Directra will not use it for automatic logins. For example, if you call from your home phone, and both you and your spouse have that phone number on your Member Pages, Directra will not automatically log you in, because it cannot know which of you is calling.

If Directra cannot identify you from your caller-ID, you will be asked to log in. Enter the login phone number and PIN from your Account Settings page. You must use the phone number from your Account Settings page even if other phone numbers appear on your Member Pages.

When interacting with Directra's telephone system you may want to log in as a different user. Directra will ask you for the phone number and PIN specified in the Account Settings page of the user you will be logging in as. If the information you provide matches the Directra record, you may proceed.
