Often individual Groups represent teams, clubs or other groups that are part of a larger organization. Directra now allows you to define the hierarchical relationships between such groups. Higher-level Groups (parent Groups) can create or include other Groups (child Groups) which, while Groups on their own, are also connected to the higher-level Group.

Enabling and using this feature is easy.

1. To use this feature open the Configure Features popup on the Admin menu and check the Related Groups box.
2. If you will be adding or creating child Groups, on the Admin tab select View Control Panel. Then, in the iPack Properties section check the box Can Create Groups.
3. The options for creating and modifying related Groups are found on the Releated Groups home page gadget and the Related Groups page available on the Members tab.

Directra will import calendar data in iCal format. This is a great way to populate your Group calendar if you have already gone to the trouble of entering the data in another program. See Importing Data Into Your Group Calendar for details.
