Directra Build #593

Released on July 09, 2009

New Look

You can't miss this change. We've updated colors, added title bars, enhanced the look of the Directra bar, tabs and menus. In other words, a complete upgrade to Directra's appearance. We love it. We hope you will too.

Note

In most places if you're looking for the edit icon edit you won't find it. Rather, for the section you want to edit, hover over the title of the section and select the Edit ... option. For example, on your iPanel, to edit your member info roll your cursor over the title Member Info. On the menu that appears select Edit <your first name>'s Member Info.

New Home Page Display of Members and Photos

Directra now uses Cover Flow when displaying members and photos in the center column of the Group home page. For member display, just place the Member gadget in the center column. For photos, use the Admin tab option Configure Features to enable the new Photoflow gadget, then place it in the center column of the home page.

Note

Consistent with Directra's privacy protection, you must be logged in to see photos of all members. If you're not logged in you will only see pictures of members which are publicy available, i.e. members in the Contact Us gadget and staff and players who appear in the team roster.

Opt-Out of Email, Call and Text Blasts

Directra now provides a number of ways for you to opt out from receiving email, call or text blasts. Details are here.

iPanel Photos

We've added a cropping tool so you have complete control over what your photo will look like on your iPanel. We have also increased the display quality of these photos. See iPanel Pictures for details.

Members List

When you display the list of members in your Group (click the Members tab) you can now show all members in a single page or specify how many members to display per page. Previously Directra showed up to twenty members per page, which remains the default setting.

Other Enhancements and Bug Fixes

  1. Click-to-Call and Click-to-Email are now pop-up windows.
  2. If you upload a photo using the Upload File command the photo is uploaded but is not displayed in the list of photos. This is useful when you want to use the photo for your Group banner or in a custom gadget.
