In our previous release we added the ability to send an SMS text message blast to members of your Group, using your Group web site. This release allows you to do the following using your mobile phone:

1. Send a text blast.
2. Send text messages to other Group members.
3. Reply to a text message.
4. Send a text message instructing Directra to initiate a voice phone call with another Group member.

We simplified the way you specify your phone number on your iPanel. Just put your phone number in and specify if it can receive text blasts. Directra will figure out the rest.

After you create an entry in your calendar (event, game or practice) you can then invite Group members to attend and tally their responses. See RSVP for details.

For each tagged member list you can now specify blasting to be enabled or disabled by media type: email, phone or text message.

In earlier versions of Directra it was possible, using an email program (not Directra), to send an email blast to "Everyone" or other tagged member lists even when blasting to the address was disabled. Now Directra will bounce the message with an error explaining that email to the address is not allowed.

Similarly, when you try to send a text message blast to a non-blastable tag or "Everyone" you'll get a reply saying the tag is not blastable. If you reply with the message HELP, Directra replies with a list of blastable tags.

For blasting from your phone, Directra does not let you choose a tag that is not blastable.
