New Features

1. Custom Gadgets are now fully enabled for your use. This feature allows you to create your own web content, home page gadgets and tabs. With this feature you can customize your Group's home page and provide custom information that isn't provided by Directra's built-in gadgets. See Custom Gadgets for all the details.
2. You can now email a link for a Directra web page. This can be very useful for sending someone the URL for a photo, video or other item of interest. Navigate to the page you want, then select the Email a Link to this Page command in the Actions panel.
3. We improved the design and appearance of the Announcements and Forum features. The Home Page Gadget for each has less detail and is much easier to read. When looking at individual Forum topics, the main topic and comments are now much more clearly delineated. We made the same updates for the Comments area on videos, photos and files.
4. Related to the above item, you can now specify how many Announcements and Forum Topics will be displayed on the home page. Use the Home Page Gadgets panel on the Admin Control Panel.
5. For Admins, we improved the detail, readability, and usability of the Activity log. The activity for the entire Group is viewed by selecting Activity from the Admin menu (displayed when you hover your cursor over the Admin tab). Admins will also see Activity log at the bottom of each iPanel, Event, Practice, and Game. Click each activity for a popup window with additional details.
6. To assist users who want to enter text using HTML we have added documentation and access to Directra CSS classes. Users can enter HTML on several forms, including Forum topics, Announcements, the Profile section of a user's iPanel and in a Custom Gadget.
7. Several improvements to Photos ...:
   • When you view all photos, they will be sorted by newest-day first, and sub-sorted using oldest first for each day.
   • If you delete a photo the page refreshes automatically and you are positioned on the next photo in the sequence.
8. ... and Videos:
   • We made several improvements to the usability of the Videos tab.
   • We fixed a problem where it was possible to create a "mismatch" between the video name on the left and the actual video that was selected. This made it was possible to play, and even delete, the wrong video.
   • We now allow uploading video files of type .mov.

Improvements / Fixes / Changes Made

1. Custom gadgets that had a home page title but no text were not displayed on the home page.
2. Renaming a custom gadget caused it to disappear from the home page.
3. The option No Family did not work when editing a member's iPanel.
4. There were problems assigning members to a family when there was more than one family with the same last name. There was also a problem with family members being duplicated under certain circumstances.
5. The items on the new More menu now sort alphabetically.
6. Non-administrators could not comment on files. Also, in some cases it was not possible to comment on a photo.
7. We changed the "No Photo" photo on a member's iPanel. In some cases the text on the image was unreadable.
8. When viewing the list of members using the Tall view, each row was sorted right-to-left.
