New Features

1. You can now enter recurring events and practices. Use the New Event and New Practice commands (and their associated Edit versions) to create events which are at the same time each day, week, month or year.
   • Recurring events and practices are displayed on the calendar and the schedule.
   • If you display the schedule on the home page you can control how many days before and after the current day are displayed. Go to the Admin tab, edit the Home Page Gadget section and specify the number of days.
   • We removed the Add Multiple Practices command since you can now create multiple, repeating practices from a single New Practice command. However the command Add Multiple Games has been retained to assist in entering games.
   • You are now asked to add a title when creating a practice. For example, you might want to enter something like "Weekly Tuesday Practice". This title will be displayed on each instance of the practice in the calendar and schedule.
   • When you specify the time of an event or practice Directra computes and displays the total time of the item. For example, if your practice is from 5:00PM to 6:30PM, Directra will display "(1.5 hours)" when you view the details for the item.
   • Birthdays are again (after a brief absence) displayed on the calendar and schedule.
   • We added new icons for events, games and practices.

   Note - With this release you can create recurring events or practices but you cannot edit or delete individual items which are part of the sequence. Any changes made to one item will be made to all items. A warning will be displayed so that you don't accidentally change all items in a sequence. In a future release we will be adding the ability to edit individual items.

2. We added tips and links to help topics in several places to help users know how to use the software when getting started.
3. The Export Calendar command is now a pop-up window with more details to help you export your calendar data. It includes a URL which you can use to sync your calendar with Google calendars.

Improvements / Fixes / Changes Made

1. On the Game form we combined Game Recap, Video and Stats into a single field. This field allows HTML input so you can customize the display of the item and include URLs which link to videos.
2. We replaced the word Edit with a pencil icon in the various places where you can enter and edit data.
3. The Group's long name is now used for invitation emails. The short name is used only to identify the Group when making a call blast.
4. Invite All Members uses the email address of the admin sending the invitations. Previously a generic address was used.
5. When editing the roster the check box Show All Members is now checked by default.
6. There was a formatting error when exporting the calendar from Directra and importing it into Microsoft Outlook.
7. The default for uploading photos is now Public. If photos are displayed on the home page then photos marked Public will be visible to anyone visiting your web site.
8. We removed the Admin Only feature. This means all members are visible to all other Group members.
9. For member-specific operations (e.g. when you hover over a name in the Members page) items refer to the first name of the member only. Previously the member's full name was displayed.
10. Admins will see that there is a News tab which shows all Group activity by all members.
