Directra Build #191
Released on May 02, 2008
New Features
- Games
- You can now add several games at once, using a single page for entering game data.
- Practices are now considered a type of game, so you add them just as you would any other game. They will appear on the calendar.
- You can delete/remove games from your schedule.
- Field (or rink) is now a property of a game.
- Rosters
- You can add and update your rosters using a single page for managing all information. Click the Roster tab, then select the Edit Roster action.
- The new Edit Roster form lets you enter contact information for players' parents.
- We have combined managers, coaches and staff into a single Staff category.
- Calendars
- The current day is highlighted on both the big and small calendars.
- Google calendar names now use the short name for your team.
Improvements / Fixes / Changes Made
- Phone and email information that is available only to Group admins is now referred to as Unlisted. (It had been called Hidden.)
- The label on map items now matches the label used when defining the location.
- On the Blast form you now enter your From: information using drop-down choices.
- We made a number of changes related to the public home page:
- All tabs but Members can now be made public.
- We removed the Download option from the public Photos panel.
- Photos were not appearing on the page even when they were marked Public.
- Member photos did not display on the Contact Us panel. Now they'll appear on the public page if they also appear on the private (login) page.
- Whenever the public page required a login, the login page was missing the phone and email icons.
- Logging in from a map on the public page called up the wrong login page.
- We removed the Gr (Grade) column from the roster.
- Time entered without minutes specified was not correctly interpreted. E.g. If you entered 7 PM, Directra displayed 12:00 AM.
- Wording of coach/manager descriptions was not always correct.
- The default setting for new email addresses and phone numbers is Protected.
- We fixed a number of formatting issues.
