Our Commitment To Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this Privacy and Legal Policy explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available as a link on every web page displayed by Directra.
This Privacy and Legal Policy is incorporated into and is subject to Directra's Terms of Service. This Privacy and Legal Policy may be updated periodically and without notice by Directra. The date of the most recent modifications will always be displayed at the top of the Policy, and modifications made will become effective immediately upon posting to the Directra web site.
The Information We Maintain
This notice applies to all information collected or submitted and maintained on the Directra web site. Directra allows you to participate in one or more iGroups and within those iGroups information about you may be provided in the following ways:
- You may provide information about yourself, if you are 13 years of age or older.
- Your parents or other family members may provide information about you.
- iGroup administrators may provide personal information about you.
Personal information may include, but is not limited to:
- Your name, birth date, address, phone number and email address.
- When you join an iGroup you provide a password, which is stored in an encoded form, not readable by anyone.
- When you join an iGroup you provide your birth date, which is stored internally within Directra, not visible to any Directra users, and is used only to determine your access rights when using Directra. (See Our Commitment To Children's Privacy below.)
- If you are a member of a team, your role on the team, position, and relationship to other team members.
- If family members are also in the iGroup then your relationship with them (e.g. child, mother, father) may be disclosed.
- Your iGroup may have videos or photographs of you individually or as a member of a team or other group.
- Others may disclose information about you when participating in Forum discussions, commenting on videos, photos and other items that are open to user input.
Most features of Directra are accessible only to other iGroup members who must log in with a username and password. For further protection, Directra allows you to control how your contact information (address, phone number and email address) is viewed by iGroup members. You have the following options:
- Visible: Any iGroup member can see your information.
- Protected: Others may contact you using Directra without knowing the details of your contact information.
- Unlisted: Only you and administrators of the iGroup are aware of or may view your contact information.
Your contact information is never visible to members of the public.
Directra uses a cookie, storing information used only to keep track that you are logged in. Only your internal user identifier is stored in the cookie. No personal or contact information is stored. If you are using a shared computer, you should always log out when have finished using Directra.
To assist with software testing and debugging, we may record calls made to or from the Directra telephone system. Specifically, we may record any calls that involve interactions between you and our automated attendant. These include outgoing call blasts.
We will never record conversations between two or more persons connected via Directra. Calls we will not record include Directory Dial and Click-to-Call connections, and conference calls.
Text messages sent using Directra are recorded and maintained. This includes messages initiated from the iGroup web site or an individual's phone, as well as text replies to messages received through Directra. Information maintained includes sender, recipients and the text of the message. The user should be aware that in addition to the Directra servers, any text message passes through the servers of Directra's text-message provider and the user's phone service provider. A message may or may not be saved at either of these providers.
Directra maintains information for blasts for all media types (email, telephone and text). This information includes the sender and recipients of the blast, whether or not the message was delivered to each recipient, and the content of the message. Summary information is available on the iGroup web site to the iGroup admin and to the sender of the blast.
Contents of text blasts, call blasts and email blasts may be reviewed by Directra employees to ensure compliance with our Terms of Service.
The Way Your Personal Information Is Used
If for some reason we need to contact you, Directra may do so using your email address. Beyond this, Directra does not use your information for any purpose other than to display it for use by other iGroup members when accessing the various features offered by Directra.
Other iGroup members may use your email address or phone number to contact you using email, phone calls or text messages. If you do not want to be contacted using any or all of these media types you may opt-out of receiving communications at any time. Third Parties
We do not disclose your personal information to third parties. However links to third party sites my be provided through Directra features, including but not limited to, Links, Forum Topics, Announcements, Gadgets, Sponsors, Google Maps and Advertisements. We are not responsible for the information collection and privacy practices of these sites. In fact, it is quite possible that the privacy policies of these sites are different from those of Directra. Accordingly, if you have any question about how your personal information will be used, please review the Privacy and Legal Policy for that site before providing them with your information.
Our Commitment To Data Security
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect and maintain online.
Our Commitment To Children's Privacy
Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason Directra fully supports and is compliant with COPPA, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. As such, we never collect information at our web site from those we actually know are under the age of 13. Information about children under the age of 13 can be entered only by:
- Administrators of the iGroup
- Parents and siblings (13 years or older) of the child
After providing us with their birth date and password, children under the age of 13 may view their iGroup site but are prohibited from any type of data entry. We store their birth date and password internally, so that we are always aware of the age of the member. When a member becomes thirteen years old, full access is granted. Until then, access is view-only.
Please be aware that a child under the age of 13 may click links to other sites over which Directra has no control. Examples of this are advertisements, Google maps and links provided by other iGroup members. Please refer to Section 4, Third Parties, above, for our policy regarding these links.
How You Can Access Or Correct Your Information
You can access directly, using Directra, all personal contact information entered by you or by others. You can edit or remove this information, and you can control (see section 2, above) how your contact information is made available to others. You can also request that your iGroup administrator edit or remove your personal data.
If you wish to remove your entire record from Directra you have these options:
- Notify your iGroup administrator and request that he or she remove your entry.
- If your iGroup administrator will not do this, notify us (see information below) and we will remove your information.
