How to Access Your Directra Web Pages
Every Group has a web site hosted by Directra. You access your web site as a subdomain of the directra.com domain. In addition, if you have your own domain you can configure it to access your Directra site.
Using the Directra Subdomain
This is easy. To access your Group's public web pages simply enter http://subdomain.directra.com into your web browser. If for any reason you're not sure what your subdomain is, you'll find it in the Domain Names section of the Group Settings Page.
Say your subdomain is tigers.directra.com. In your web browser enter http://tigers.directra.com.
Using Your Own Domain name
While you can always use your Directra subdomain name to access your Group's web site you can also configure your domain to open your Directra web site using your own domain name.
Say your domain is tigers.com. After configuring your domain you can enter http://www.tigers.com, or simply tigers.com in your web browser to open your Directra web site.
Here's how:
- Go to the website of the company hosting your domain.
- Log in with your username (often this will be the domain name) and password associated with your domain.
- If you have more than one domain, make sure you have selected the correct domain to edit.
- Find the page where you can edit your name server records. Most name server records will look like ns1.nameserver.com and ns1.nameserver.com.
- Change the name server names to ns1.directra.com and ns2.directra.com.
- Save your changes and exit the site.
- In the Domains section of the Group Settings Page enter your domain name. Make sure to include the full name, i.e. enter tigers.com, not just tigers.
