About the Directra Calendar

A key part of maintaining communication among members of your group is making sure that plans for any and all of your group activities are easy to find.

Viewing the Full-Page Calendar

Click the Calendar tab and select either Monthly or List in the view bar. The former is the common month-at-a-glance view. The latter displays calendar entries in a simple list, with no gaps, and can be useful if you want to see entries across more than a month, or if your entries are few-and-far between.

The monthly calendar displays summary information about each entry but no notes about the entry. Clicking on any entry opens a detailed view providing all information. But an easier way to see the notes is to hover over the info icon info. The RSVP status and any notes will be displayed in a pop-up box.

Similarly, the calendar list displays summary information only. Click the expand icon more to see the RSVP status and notes inline. They will remain displayed until you click the collapse icon less.

Viewing the Monthly Calendar and Calendar List On Your Home Page

You can display the monthly calendar in any of the three home page columns. If you use the left or right columns, Directra will display a mini-calendar, with days of the month highlighted to indicate activities. Click on any part of the mini-calendar to open the full calendar. If you display the calendar in the center column you will see a full display of the month, similar to but smaller than the full-page calendar display.

You can display the Calendar List in the center column only. Because of its format you can specify how many previous and how many upcoming activities to display, and whether to display the list in expanded form so you can review notes for all entries at a glance.

Exporting your Calendar

You can save your calendar to a file or subscribe to an iCalendar, allowing entries to display on Google, Outlook, Apple iCal and other calendars. From the Calendar tab select Export Calendar. A pop-up window will guide you through your options. For full details, see Exporting Your Group Calendar.
