Exporting Your Group Calendar
Your Directra calendar provides all the information your Group needs to see upcoming events, games and other activities. But it's very possible that you and members of your Group maintain other online calendars and would like to integrate your Directra information into these other external calendars. It's easy.
- Subscribe to an iCalendar: Directra provides you a URL to enter into your external calendar. This calendar then looks for new Directra calendar data on a schedule you specify, so your external calendar is always up to date with Directra information. This is the preferred method for sharing your Directra calendar data with Google Calendar, Outlook 2007 and more recent, Windows Calendar, Apple iCal and other calendars that support iCal format. - Export to a File: Make your calendar information available for integration with older versions of Microsoft Outlook and other programs. This has the disadvantage of not allowing for dynamic update of your external calendar, since it's just a one-time snapshot of your Directra calendar. Learn more ...
For either of the above options you have the choice of using calendar data from an individual Group or using the data from all your Groups. For example, suppose your family uses a single calendar (e.g. Google Calendar) to keep track of all family activities. You have two children on different sports team, each with a separate Group of which you are a member. In this case the easiest thing to do is use a single URL that captures date for all your Group calendars.
