Directra Alerts

Directra uses alerts to provide information to all users. Examples include notification of new versions (builds) of Directra and notice of planned system upgrades. Here's how they work:

  1. Alerts will appear at the top of each Directra page. (You can't miss them.)
  2. Once you have viewed an alert, you can close it by checking the cancel in the upper-right-hand corner of the alert.
  3. Click the Account link at the top of any page, then click the Alerts tab. You'll see all alerts (active and inactive) which you have received. You can also open the Alerts page by clicking the title in the upper-left-hand corner of any alert.
  4. On the Alerts page you can click the new sign in the upper-right-hand corner of any alert to re-activate that alert.
  5. Some alerts, for example notification of a new build, are time sensitive and will automatically cancel after a period of time. This way if you haven't logged into Directra for a while the alerts won't build up and take over your screen.
  6. Alerts are activated per user, not per Group. This means if you're a member of more than one Group, if you cancel an alert in any of your Groups it is canceled for all your Groups.
