Domain Names
Use this box to provide your Group domain name (if you have one) and your subdomain name. The subdomain name is automatically assigned by Directra, based on your Group short name, but you can change it here.
How Does Directra Use My Domain or Subdomain Name?
Two ways:
- Email: You can send an email blast from any email program by sending your email to <tag name>@ <domain name> or <tag name>@<subdomain name>directra.com. You can also send email to Group members if you have assigned routing addresses to your Group members.
- Web Site: To open your Group web site, in your browser enter either www.<domain name>.<com,org,edu,...> or www.directra.com/<subdomain name>.
How do I get Directra to use my own domain name?
Log in to your domain registrar and find the place where the Name Servers are defined. Change the definitions to:
ns1.directra.com
ns2.directra.com
Add your domain name to the Domain Names box in the Group Settings page.
