Group Settings

Default Contact Information

This panel specifies the contact information settings that will be used when a new member is added to the Group. You can change the existing settings, add new entries for phone number, email addresses and location, and remove existing entries (just click Delete) that you won't need. Here's what the columns mean:

  • Item: The type of contact information. You can't change this value.
  • Label: A way of identifying contact information so that you can tell, say, a mobile phone number from a home phone number. You may enter anything you like in this field. It is displayed when you view a member's page, of course, but also when one uses Directra to email or phone the member.
  • Privacy: Select the level of protection you want for each email address, phone number and home address. See Protecting Your Contact Information for details.
  • Blast?: Specify if this email address or phone number can be used to receive a blast. See Email and Call Blasts for details.
