Group Settings

Customize the background using any or all of the following values. Note that these values represent the standard HTML background display values, but you don't need to know or use HTML to get the look you want.

1. Background color: You may specify a primary color, e.g. blue or red. You may also specify the color using the standard 6-hex-digit coloring scheme used in web development. You must preceed this hex value by #. For example, to specify a background color of dark gray, you could enter #272727.
2. Background image: Specify the location on your computer of an image that will appear in the background.
3. Background repeat: Select a value from the standard HTML background image repeat options.
4. Background vertical position: Select the vertical position of the background image.
5. Background horizontal position: Select the horizontal position of the background image.
6. Background text color: Select the color of the text that appears at the bottom of every page in your site. Color specifications are as described above for Background color.

Directra provides two ways to display your Group banner.

1. Format the banner for me: After you complete your Group name and logo information, Directra automatically creates and displays your Group banner at the top of every page. This is the default option. If you're pleased with the banner then you don't need to do anything else.
2. Let me enter the HTML directly: The first time you check this box you'll see the HTML that Directra uses to format your Group banner. We recommend you start with this HTML and alter it incrementally, saving your work and reviewing the banner's appearance at each step.
