Invite Members
Once you have added a new member you will probably want to invite that member to join the Group. The invitation process is simple:
- You, the Group admin, send an invitation email to the member.
- The member follows the link (URL) in the email, provides a password and birthdate, and logs in.
Note
Directra provides the URL automatically. However you can edit the text of the invitation so it says just what you want. See Group Settings - Invitation Message section for details. When you send individual invitations (see the first section, below) you can edit the invitation text before it is sent.
Inviting One Member At A Time
- Click the command Invite [member name] to bring up the invitation form addressed to the member. You can find this command in a number of places:
- From the Members tab Members view, select the member, then click the Actions button
- From the Members tab List view, hover over the member's name and select the command on the flyout menu.
- On the member's iPanel, click the Actions button.
- Edit the text of the invitation as appropriate.
- Click Send. The invitation will be sent and the Invite Members page will open, where you can check the status of this and any other invitation.
Inviting All Members at Once
- From the Members tab select the Invitations view.
- Click the Invite All Members button.
- Directra will display a confirmation, to make sure this is what you want. Click Yes and the invitations will be sent.
Note
The invitation will only be sent to members who have not yet been sent an invitation.
Checking the Status of Invitations
- From the Members tab select the Invitations view.
- Scan the list of members to see their status. You can invite (or re-invite) individuals, or you can re-invite all members who have not yet accepted the invitation.
